We’ll gladly exchange unused, unwashed, or defective merchandise with original tags attached for exchange or store credit.

Please include the original packing slip or order number with your items when you mail them back.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or shipping insurance. Without this, we cannot guarantee we will receive your shipped item. Keep the Return Tracking Number from the package you are returning to ensure it gets returned to our warehouse.

What is your return policy?

We’re happy to exchange items. Please read through these FAQs for full details and instructions.

The original shipping charge is non-refundable, and you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for any item you exchange.

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused, with tags attached and in the same condition that you received it. If an item is found to be in unsellable condition, you will be notified and the items will be returned to you. You may be responsible for additional shipping costs to return the item.

Caravan West does not accept Cash On Delivery (COD) deliveries.

We do not issue refunds.

How do I return or exchange something?

If you wish to exchange your item for the same product in a different size or color, we recommend purchasing the new item, then sending the original item back for a refund.

Website purchases

  • Website purchases will receive store credit to the account created during checkout. Simply follow the instructions emailed to you to login and store credit will be available to use on checkout.
  • Simply mail the item(s) to us within 21 days of your order date and the cost of your item(s) (excluding shipping) will be applied onto your account as Caravan West store credit.

In-store purchases

  • Simply return the item(s) to us within 7 days of your order date and the cost of your item(s) (excluding shipping) will be applied onto your account as Caravan West store credit.
  • In-store purchases will receive a store card to use in-store.

Once your item(s) are received and processed, we will notify you via email that we have received them and include details of your store credit.

IMPORTANT: Please include the original packing slip or order number when returning items. Failure to do so could mean we can’t identify you or your order and therefore cannot issue store credit.

What is the cost to exchange an item?

Exchanges are complimentary at the Caravan West store in Encinitas, California, and must be accompanied by an original receipt.

Exchanges may also be made by mail, and will incur shipping fees. Any shipping fees associated with making a return are the responsibility of the customer and will not be refunded.

An item was damaged/faulty, what do I do?
